THE KNOW TRIBE is a collection of dynamic female business owners, leaders, and philanthropist who are blazing trails in their industries across the United States. The KNOW TRIBE produces an elegant coffee table style book that spotlights 100+ dynamic women in their respective regional areas. The annual publication is carefully curated to highlight vision-led women in both a glamorous and authentic style.
In this year’s inaugural KNOW Tampa Book, we are proud to announce that Canviiy’s CEO, Sherrel Sampson is featured as a woman to watch amongst the compilation of proven leaders, high producers and rising stars. ‘It’s an incredible honor to be recognized amid such dynamic women! I am truly grateful for the opportunity to foster relationships and support amazing women within the community,” says Sampson.
Julie Tingley, KNOW Tampa Ambassador stated, “Curating a collection of female leaders in Tampa was an absolute honor as I personally met and spoke with every single woman to learn her story, hear about her challenges and discover how she rises above to make an impact in her industry. It took a single interaction with Sherrel Sampson to know that she embodies the very ideals that KNOW is based on: women empowering women, and collaboration over competition. As we spoke about Canviiy growing to become a national brand, her strategy for expansion and the sacrifices she has made to pursue her dreams for this business– she was consistently focused on where she came from and referred back to that to build commonality between us. She is humble, she is one of the smartest people I have ever met, and she has a vision for her product line that could change lives. She is the pride of Tampa and I’m so excited to have her featured in the inaugural issue of KNOW Tampa.”
After 15 successful years in the medical sales industry, Julie Tingley decided to hang up her scrubs to stay home and focus on being a mom to her two little girls. Her passion to celebrate women from every industry and at every life-stage purposefully grew after receiving professional pushback regarding her decision to take time off from her career with the birth of her first daughter. Setting the example of female empowerment, inclusion and collaboration for both girls became the driving force that motivated this ambitious mother to ultimately compose a beautiful compilation that the people of Tampa would take pride in.
